1: can i just put on 4.50 ita dex, or do i have to switch, i am on rebug 4.46 dex right now

2: in what ways is 4.50ita dex better than rebug

3: what are the best parts of having ita dex

4: what do i have to do to switch from rebug 4.46 dex to 4.50 ita dex

5: do i need a spoofer for 4.50 ita dex, or can i just go into ita manager and click restore original cid like i do in rebug. When i reboot?

To be honest it's all a matter of opinion. I have found PS3ita to be the better firmware over Rebug, but that's just how I feel. In terms of functionality, there's not all that much difference.

K thanks man, but can i install ps3 ita 4.50 dex over rebug dex, and i will still have all my homebrew and be able to use tmapi and stuff without doing anything extra?

Yep, you should be absolutely fine. Just put 4.50 ita on your USB drive, and install it from XMB. As long as you don't format the HDD, you won't lose any of your personal files. (accounts, savegames, homebrew, backups, etc...)

Yep, you won't lose anything.
It's a DEX only firmware, not a 'hybrid' firmware like Rebug, so yeah, you will.

I've never used Matthew's method of converting. I, personally, used the method of downgrading back to 3.55 cfw, and then going through the long process of converting from CEX to DEX from there. But I've heard from another person who's tried Matthew's tactic, and it worked for him. No, eboots, .pkgs, etc. don't change, just the coding and infrastructure of the system.

You sure i dont have to downgrade, cuz this guy on yt said to downgrade first, maybe that was since he wasnt already on dex? so im just gonna install ofver now right?

I personally used the DEX downgrader to get to 3.55 DEX then installed ita just to be safe.
