(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); eveytime I go on target manager to try and do RTM or something, do I also need to have an ethernet connected to router from pc and ps3, because I am just running a ethernet from pc to ps3, and when I go on target manager, and try to connect my ps3 is says error cannot connect, please help

Target manager is for DEX only. If your on CEX the you'll need console control. You'll need to put the correct ip address in the tmapi or ccapi. This can b done over WiFi. If your doing direct connection then you'll need to setup the IP address vie network connections on your PC first. To do this you'll need to go into control panel/networking, then on the left side of the window you'll see manage networks and adaptors, click on that then right click on the LAN network your connected with n select properties. Select the protocol pvn4 then properties. setup IP address as 10.1.1.1 n default router as 10.1.1.0 subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 then save. Now on your ps3 go to network settings n chose custom lan, select custom on the ip address n set it to 10.1.1.2 n make the other options identical to the what you put on the PC, everything else select automatic n do not use on the proxy server. On target manager put in the ip address 10.1.1.2 n you should b good to go. I may have missed a few things or miss typed a few of the options as I'm away from my computer right now. If your still having trouble just let me know n I'll see what I did wrong or missed when I get to the PC, I'll edit once I get home if I did have anything wrong.
