(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My world at war would get a black screen every time I started it so I of course looked for a way to fix it and I saw a forum that said change your debug from REBUG to Retail so I did that and when I loaded world at war my PS3 went to a black screen and now it has been saying connect your controller using a USB cable but my main controller is broke and my backup one won't connect i'm pretty sure it soft-bricked and I know how to fix that but the thing is do I need to buy a new controller or am I completely screwed

I can turn it on but it is in recovery mode and my back up controller wont connect via USB

What I always did for W@W was change everything to release mode and dual settings, and it runs.

Try to change your EBOOT, it would most likely work..
