I have a PS3 slim running Rogero 4.55 CFW, I downloaded Escape dead Island when I launched the game from Multiman it gives the error on the screen.

The game requires 4.65 firmware version

I have selected no it gives the error above when I launch the game in XBM menu, If I select yes and launch the game it goes to black screen.

You need to spoof your current firmware by installing 4.65 Spoofer.
Basically spoof will make your game think you are on 4.65 instead of 4.55

The same error still comes up, I selected yes to correct firmware to current firmware but still comes up with black screen and tried selecting no comes up with 80010009 error.

What do I do?

Open MultiMan, go the game you're having trouble with, press SQUARE and select 'Fix Permissions'.
The screen will go black, and the game will be fixed, no more firmware errors.

I believe you are trying to play a backup.
In that case ITA manager fix permission will do.

I did that same thing, error came up and launched the game I get black screen.

If trying to fix permissions with MutiMan didn't work, it won't worth with ITA manager, as they use the same method.
