Post: How do you install a EBOOT.bin file?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm under the impression it needs to be a .pkg file for me to install it. Sorry for the newb question, but it's something I am in fact new at doing. Any tips would be nice. Break it down for me the best you all can. Thanks!

Name it EBOOT.BIN and use FTP to transfer it to your ps3 into the folder hdd0/game/GAME ID/usdir/ RIGHT HERE

When I downloaded and installed Blackb0x FTP it won't let me open it. Gives me the 80010017 error.

use muitiman as a ftp server! msg me if u need more info.

Yea just download the latest multiman and run it then download filezilla for your computer........ or you could just use a usb

Your best bet would be to go on youtube and search how to ftp on a ps3.
Once you have set ftp up then put the eboot here hdd0/game/GAME ID/usdir/RIGHT HERE.

I put it right here and the EBOOT didn't work.

^ This is for Bops1 btw. Did the same with Bops2 and the EBOOT didn't work either.

Are You On Cex Or Dex? if your on cex and it is a dex eboot, it wont work.
