yea you do sadly. If you have your original (CEX) CID written down then you can set that ID on boot with ur console using CCAPI manager on ur pc instead of ita manager

Im on DEX (rebug 4.65.1) so if I want to mod safely by using PSN patch and then go to ita manager to restore private cid will it work then because when I do this with rebug tool changing settings to CEX it does not work, it says theres a problem with my cid I guess that is because is spoofed it with psn patch ?

Word from the wise, the error code "8002A224" definitely means that your current Console ID is banned from the servers. If your ORIGINAL CID is banned, then you have to set your Console ID every time you boot up your console. In any case, if your Console ID is unbanned, make sure that you've set it to your console already. A lot of simple mistakes like this are made.

My console id is not banned becaude whenever I go in rebug toolbox and change the setting no to CEX (85) I can get online but the problem is everytime I turn of my ps3 the setting goes back to "no". I can't mod safely because whenever is spoof my id with psn patch i can't change the setting after because the rebug toolbox can't seem to find my id , probably because it's spoofed any ways around u think?
