(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello ngu, I just received Destiny as a gift from a family member and as I went to go play on my 4.46.1 rebug Dex PS3 I was unable to open it, I've searched for countless fixes and none work! It would be a shame to have a game wasted. When I try to load the game I get the error code is 80010009 and happens when I try to open the game.
I've tryed installing the latest updates and copied it to an external hard drive to play off that applied the fix to the external hard drive and still doesn't work!!! Please Help Urgent!

Open up MutiMan, hover over Destiny in the game list, press square on your controller & select 'Fix Permissions'.
I'm not sure if you meant you'd already tried that or not, sorry if you have. :p

I've tryed this also and u go through and it patches it but I still get the error, at one stage I got it to just get a black screen but that's probably the closest I've gotten

Well 8001009 is a either related to needing to fix the permissions (firmware fix) and can sometimes be associated with patches just needing to be re installed (if you installed any modifications, EBOOTs for example.)

But, since you've already tried these things, I'm at a loss.
Did you mean you have tried to run it from both the BluRay, and your Hard Drive?

Ive tryed both!! And I had no patches installed at a time and installed one from multiman, one from the web each time trying to patch the game and it was not working! Thankyou for your help though

There seems to be a video on YouTube that claims to fix the issue you're describing. I can't try it myself as I don't have destiny, and it could be outdated/patched, but I suppose it's worth a try. It seems to be the only thing that describes the same problem you have. Unfortunately, it's in a different language, but here is the link nonetheless.
