(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi, my friend's ps3 super slim got RSOD problem, I've already google it and many of the tutorials says to downgrade to 3.55 OFW. However, it's a super slim console witch can not be downgraded. Then I saw a tutorial that you can fix it by having a USB dongle. And there is my question, do I need to be on 3.55 to lv2diag.self to work, or it can be on any OFW? Or, how do I fix RSOD on a OFW console?

Yes you need to be on 3.55 before you can use lv2diag.self.

I think the only thing he can try is, enter recovery mode and install the latest ofw firmware.
And if that doesn't work, he is out of options..

He already tried all the options, even install again the latest firmware. Maybe we can wait a new firmware come out and see if it fixes
