What I'm asking for is what firmware you think is best to go to after I've flashed back to 3.55? And whether CEX is better than DEX at certain things or DEX is better than CEX at certain things. And also if anyone reccomends DEX how would I go about changing all the .bin files to convert it to a DEX? Its been a while since I've modded so any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance NGU!

At most certain, I would recommend having a DEX console over CEX. Though if you a Rebug firmware you can constantly switch from CEX to DEX and vice versa only if you have your flash dumps with you. One of the common reasons for having a DEX console is the ability to RTM, though it is possible on CEX with CCAPI (also compatible on DEX) with the added power of target manager. But this depends on your preference, if you play CoD and wish to mod, DEX is most preferable since mods for CEX are limited (though this doesn't apply for every game). The problem I have had while on DEX is that getting online requires some extra stuff (hardly time consuming). Overall DEX is recommended and better than CEX on a bunch of points. To have my word, get Rebug since you can switch from CEX to DEX and vice versa from the Rebug toolbox at your will.

Cheers for the recommendations mate! Just to simplify it a little bit more... Once I've got the E3 flasher I shall need to downgrade it it to 3.55 OFW, then put on a 3.55 CFW... But... Is there a CFW (I.e. Rebug?) That I can then get all of my dumps and then transfer it to a DEX console? And then get it to 4.66 or the closest (4.55.2 Rebug I think) and then all I need to do is put in the CEX dump to go from DEX to CEX? And vice versa? As I said its been a really long time since I've modded (back when geohot released the first one xD)
