so i have this FAT PS3 with Rogero 4.46, which i lent out to a friend, got it back and doesnt work anymore. when i turn it on it says: "the system software cannot be run correctly. press the ps button to try to restart the system system software". Pressing the PS button reboots the system with the same error message.. so system software is just f-ed up. i can boot into safe mode but every option doesnt work because it needs to reboot into PS-OS. When i want to reinstall the system OS with option #6, the system just freezes...
does someone had this problem? if so, how did you fix it?
ps: my friend said he removed my HDD, put his HDD in it and only updated to 4.55 and installed the new version of CCAPI. (my PS3 says about reinstalling the 4.46 or higher version btw.)

When it displays that screen have rogero 4.46 or a higher CFW in the USB and press and hold start & select at the same time for about 6 seconds, or till it start checking USB for the update. Then go through with the update
yeah a mfkr just f-ed up my PS3, he said he could re-jailbreak my ps3 but when he was flashing the patched bkkps3.bin back to the system it gave an error: (blue led 1001111 = flash to bios fail). then he turned it off... and when he turned it on it gave the YLOD/blinking red lights which is that it cant boot because there's no bios, right? he says that the system is dead and cant be revived..... but i searched on the net and found an topic @ps3hax of a guy with the same problem and ppl are saying that he can fix it by soldering a wire to E3 nor cable to GND/tresitor on the ps3 mobo.
