Post: Network Options Missing After Restore

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am currently having a problem with my PS3. ( 4.50 PS3ITA )

It was working fine before until i updated multiman and it kept on giving me a blackscreen, i tried many tutorials on YouTube and Google which didn't help so i decided to restore the default ps3 settings. After doing so multiman managed to work although i couldn't sign in to playstation network.

I am currently connected to the internet by Ethernet Cable (CAT 5e) and have also tried wireless but still the same problem.

I keep getting an error saying that my email and password is incorrect. I then go onto Playstations website and try to sign in and my details work fine.

I then try and sign in on my other accounts as well as create another although nothing works. Because i get another error saying that the connection has timed out.

I read in a billion and one places to change the NP environment to np, and i have, but it hasn't helped.

I tried reinstalling my firmware among many other things...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I decided to do an internet connection test and it seems that it only shows two things.

- Obtain IP Address
- Internet Connection

No playstation network or anything else. (really strange)

download PS3Ita Manager and Restore Original Console ID :You must login or register to view this content.
afterwards spoof your other CID (that is if you use another CID)
and then try to sign into PSN

That's how I'd normally sign in, but it doesn't work because for some reason, all PSN related things don't work. Even the test for PSN in network options is gone. It's really frustrating because I've seen similar threads that was solved by the solution offered above. Sal
