Post: Won't connect with TMAPI
01-17-2015, 07:30 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi Guys,
I just made the switch from CEX to DEX and I'm having issues setting up TMAPI atm.
I've got ProGD running and the PS3 says connected in the entire menu.
When I, for example, try to run this BO1 RTM tool through TMAPI, it connects fine but then gives me the story of how it needs "PS3TMAPI.dll".
So I go to the Bin place on my C Drive, copy paste it from the ProGD and put it with the RTM Tool and it still gives me the same error.
Even worse, if I'd skip that button and just say "Attach to Black Ops" it gives me the "Unhandled Exception" error and I honest to God don't know how to fix something like that either.

I tried it with switching out my PS3LIB but to no Success. I've tried switching the PS3TMAPI.dll and PS3TMAPI_Net.dll with others. But nothing works.

Then with other RTM tools, such as the Tunable editor for GTAV, it tells me it can't connect at all.
What am I missing here?

I'm about to bash my brains in, this stuff is Hard.

Go to debug settings under settings tab, and change one to system software mode.

You mean Boot Mode? That one is on System Software Mode, other than that I don't see anything else I can change to that here.

What do you have for release mode? Wait look at these and select the ones you do not have :

Getting there.
I tried using the Single connection earlier and it took really long to connect to Internet. It did now.
I've been able to connect the Tunable Editor for GTA, so I guess that's making progress.

The fault of the BO1 RTM tool not connecting now, has to be an issue on their end then, I believe.
It tells me I need to make sure the game is running, which it is plus when I try to connect the RPC, it still tells me I don't have the PS3TMAPI.dll Thing.

Edit;
Guessing I need a Debug Eboot..?

Edit#2;
Got it working, mostly because of your push in the right direction, Mercury, Thanks again!

Either way, I do believe you've helped me out 1 step, Mercury. Much appreciated!

No problem mate, yes you do need a debug eboot if you are going to connect to a game using target manager, good luck mate.
