(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently downloaded 2.60 CCAPI on my pc but can't connect to PS3. I don't know how to pair them together so I can use RTM on games.

Please help

Make you sure you have CCAPI 2.60 installed on both your PC and your PS3. And when adding your PS3's ip address on Control Console on your computer make sure you entered the right IP. If that didn't work try uninstalling CCAPI 2.60 on your PS3 by opening the package file again.

I've done all of that and when I open up control console on the PS3 it says everything that I can do with it and then says it's not compatible then exits. I'm on FERROX cfw 4.66 but don't know anything about this fw

CCAPI must not be compatible with Ferrox. I suggest going to a different CFW.

Yeah I thought about that to be honest but I'm not sure how to or if I'll do it right.

I would use ps3ita 4.50 DEX or Rebug 4.46 CEX/DEX
I have used CCAPI on those cfw's and never had an issue connecting/attaching!
You should be able to use a 3.55 downgrader pup to downgrade from 4.66 Cfw back to 3.55,then you can select which Cfw you want to install from there.
But for specifically modding games online I would jump to ps3ita 4.50...just my opinion, good luck :-)

Thanks for that bit of info. Do you know what's a good place to get a 3.55 cfw file and a tutorial because I don't want i stuff up. Also if I do stuff up will I lose the jaikbreak?

What Cfw are you looking to have installed??
Also there's a thread around here ( NGU ) with all ofw, cfw's etc which would be reliable and legit!!!
I don't think you can loose a jailbreak by installing a Cfw,unless the file you downloaded is not legit and a scam ( which is why I asked you earlier what Cfw you looking to install so I can steer you in the right direction ) you also need to remember not to have a ps3 game inserted in your ps3 whist your updating from USB,otherwise the console will read the update file via the disk and not the USB :-)
I am certain the worse case scenario is a brick may occur rather than loosing your jailbreak......but believe me,if you download a legit file ( Cfw ) the installation is ridiculously simple :-)
