(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, my PS3 is currently running 4.66 OFW, and I want to downgrade to 3.55 OFW so I could install CFW and install pkg files. Now, everyone says to use a flasher, specifically the E3 Flasher, or get someone to downgrade for me. What if I get the file for 3.55 and install it in System Update using the alternate option to install my own firmware (the 3.55 OFW I downloaded)? Will that work? I'm curious about that because no one tried it, but I'm scared that I might get my PS3 bricked. Any answers for this? (Please give a polite answer, and my PS3 was bought in mid-2009, so you don't have to give any comments about the model if that is needed)

(If I posted this in the wrong section, please tell me, or move the thread please)

Well, I got my answer, even though it wasn't as polite as I thought it would be, so please lock this thread.
