Post: HELP! Black Screen After Putting PS3 into FSM VIA E3 Card Reader

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey, guys. I've been without a working PS3 for like 2 months now. I bought a FAT PS3 with a broken BD and downgraded it with the E3 Flasher and installed Rogero 3.55 Downgrader. I put the e3_downgrade.bin in the E3Upgrader folder and got the blue light on the E3 Card Reader & then I put the Lv2diag.self(to go into FSM) in the E3 card Reader Removable Disk Folder and safely removed it from my computer. With the PS3 turned off(switch off), I put the E3 Card Reader in the far right slot and pressed power then eject really fast. The red light lit up, then the blue light, then red again then the PS3 turns off. When I turn it back on, instead of it booting up into FSM, it just turns on with no video. I thought I fucked it up for good like my last one but then I just tried putting the Lv2diag.self(to get out of FSM) on my USB and plugged it into the PS3 and it turned the PS3 off then I removed the USB and turned the PS3 on and it booted up like normal. I don't know what's going on but if anyone can help me get this BD remarried, I'll give you $20 paypal. I'm pretty sure the BD is good but even if it wasn't, I should still be able to boot up in FSM, right? I don't know why it won't let me boot up in FSM :(

Skype/grosscecil I'm not sure if the BD is good or bad. I have 2 and one was supposed to be good and one was bad but I switched the parts so much, I forgot which one is which XD I might just have to order one and try again.

Is your console even compatible with the E3, I don't know anything about E3's but you should have 2 PS3's if you're going to mod lol, what happens when you get CID banned? I know you can buy another but eventually you'll get account banned.

Ended up fixing this & remarrying my blu-ray drive by using the FSM USB dongle(don't remember the exact name.. it's white..)
