1. Having a ethernet cord connected from your pc to your router and another 1 from your ps3 to your router

2. Having an ethernet cord connected to your pc, and your pc connected to the router/modem but wireless

is the 2nd 1 true? Does it HAVE to be wireless (PC)?

Can I just have 1 cord going through my ps3 and pc and another 1 going through my pc and router?

You can also have CCAPI on DEX, but if you want TMAPI you need to do one of these things:
PC>router>ps3
Ps3>Pc=wifi
That are the options that you have.

Or you can use the GSC injector for bo2 that runs direct from your ps3's internal hdd,that method requires no PC/laptop/router or CCAPI :-)
You can also run mod menus direct from the hdd with GTA 5 without the need of PC/laptop/router to run them :-)
