(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); OK So I don't usually have issues with my CFW but I am looking for a little bit of guidance (If needed, see below for PS3 information)

I installed a new HDD a couple of weeks ago and all is fine, many games installed etc etc. However when going to do a recovery for a friend earlier today I was greeted with a Time out message when selection 'Use An Existing Account' under Sign Up.

Naturally I thought this was a network issue and after checking my end I landed the blame on PSN (Connection solid, browser working) However I do not have any accounts signed up on this new drive so cannot test a sign in.

So my question/request would for someone to try adding an account via the sign up process right now and let me know the outcome? Or is this is a common issue and I am being dumb, in that case any information would be appreciated.

After asking around, a few people have notified me they are not able to do the same, and some even sign in so I believe this to be upset availability. But if anyone else has the same issue, let me know.
