Try to switch back to CEX. Make sure the firmware is compatible with CEX before you switch or you will semi-brick your console.

Did you switch from CEX to DEX with your broken blueray without problem? If so I don't why you couldn't switch back to CEX with problem and btw when you on DEX you can't read dvd/blueray movies. Just saying
