Today I received my new PS3 3.55 OFW
Was wondering if anybody could help me jailbreak it

I have downloaded some files whilst waiting on my 1TB USB / HDD to re format

I have downloaded
- Rebug 4.65.2 CFW
- Rebug_TOOLBOX_02.02.02.pkg
- CcApi_package_2.60
- multiMan_ver_04.66.10_BASE_CEX.pkg

I was wondering, any thing I have missed out or done completely wrong?
Please advise me guys, thanks very much in advanced Smile

Not that I can see. You might want psnope, or applications to unban your PS3 or to spoof your console id.

And how do I spoof to 4.66 as my other PS3 is on 4.66

I can't remember if you can install a 4.xx CEX CFW from 3.55 OFW so to be safe you might want to install rebug 3.55.2 first or Geohotz 3.55 cfw then USB update to 4.65.2 rebug

I don't spoof 4.66 myself, i am on 4.46. D-REX (Spoofing to 4.50 or 55 i think).

Like BP said but just to confirm, you are unable to install a 4.XX FW over a 3.55 Official console, you will need to install a 3.55.X CEX firmware first before upgrading to 4.65.2 REBUG.

And providing that REBUG is the REX edition you are all good to it seems.

Spoofing wise, you will not need to spoof the FW as it is currently compatible with online gameplay, I have PSNINJA V4 and PSNPATCH installed onto my console as well for spoofing or clearing reasons.

You'll find anything you want with a simple Google Search. I would suggest Rebug for everything lel.
