I have recently bought two games with some of my playstation network money. However I figured that I wouldn't be able to play the games since I have a jailbroken PS3... and everytime I did try and play them a error would occur so I figured games were not able to be played with a jailbreak. If you can't buy games with playstation network money inside of the playstation stores then what can you buy and is it worth having money on playstation network if that's the case? > :confused:

Well I downloaded it from PSN store so I don't see why there would be a problem with any of that.

Just to check. You're trying to run the games on the same console id used to download them?

Yes. I am not to sure if the account was made on this CID. Would the account being made on a different CID effect anything?

im assuming that the pkg files downloaded actually install but game doesnt run then

grab the eboot.bin and param.sfo off the ps3 for the specific game onto your pc. then decrypt the eboot.bin using "darkps3tools" open the generated eboot.elf in a hex editor and search for hex 13BCC5F6 . just after 13BCC5F6 about 6 values (usually next line) you should see 46 in hex, change this to 35. reencrypt the eboot.elf to eboot.bin using "darkps3tools" then edit the param.sfo and change its version to 3.55. put both files back on ps3 and it will work.

or an easier way would be to grab the pkg file off the ps3 then use "PKG.resigner.lrz.092913" < google it. to use this program simply drop the pkg file onto the bat file in the "PKG.resigner.lrz.092913" archive.
