Post: using external hardrive after jB?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); when i get done downgrading ps3.. and install cfw is there a way i can get my external usb hardrive to work with my ps3 ? or no.. i need to buy a different type of HDD external drive

You can use an external hard drive, but it needs to be formatted to Fat32

yeah i know that but my external hard drive doesnt work on the ps3 because not enough power is being supplied to it.. is there a way around that.. after i JB?

It sounds like you need to format it to FAT32 and if you did that already and it still don't work then you will need a usb hub. I recommend this one You must login or register to view this content. I have it. It's cheap and works very well with my ps3. The only problem I have with it is that every time I play Kingdom Hearts 1.5 cutscenes sometimes slow down. But I think it's because my Kingdom Hearts 1.5 is halfway currupt because it works very well with all the other 75 games I got.

Exactly just use a usb hub bro and you should be good to go.
