You can use an external hard drive, but it needs to be formatted to Fat32

I have it. It's cheap and works very well with my ps3. The only problem I have with it is that every time I play Kingdom Hearts 1.5 cutscenes sometimes slow down. But I think it's because my Kingdom Hearts 1.5 is halfway currupt because it works very well with all the other 75 games I got.
