I run my bkpps3.bin thru the 4.66 dumpchecker n the new dump was fine got the green ok. I renamed the dump n flashed back to ps3 as normal. then wen I turn on the ps3 and its asks for the 4.66 update I press start and select n I stays on checking for update??? I mean for ages don't say no application date found just that message n spinnin icon in top right. iv tried dif cfw updates like darnet n ferrox n still nuffing. what shod I do plz.thanks

updating through recovery mode requires you to have a BD drive attached, because the ps3 chechs for updates in the BD drive first. attach it and try it again and it should work
