It depends on your language and the consoles language as far as I am aware.

If it is set to Italian then yes this should correct if it is set to some other language then it would go in that folder.

I place mine in the English folder but I guess it could also refer to the regional code of the game I am not 100% on this but worth a try the worst thing that could happen is it does not load the menu and then you can change the folder it is in.

Remember to make a backup of the originals though before doing this just incase.

Are you using CFW or trying to import them using ps3xport or a GUI using ps3xport?
