im on 4.46 d-rex and i want rogero cex

step by step please, i already have cex and dexflashnorbin. I dont wanna to brick my console

the process i used to convert from dex to cex was to use psidset to dump the eid_root_key, then create the cex/dex dumps, then convert to cex. Now, I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure it can be done in reverse, i'd say going into rebugtoolbox first and changing kernel to dex, then using psidset would make it easier. of course, i've no reason to go back to dex, until there's a method to bypass the spoof patch.

thanks, basicaly what i need to do is the same thing what i did to convert to CEX but now using the dex flash?

Warning:
To switch from CEX to DEX or DEX to CEX, you must on a firmware that support CEX and DEX. If you do re-write Target ID to CEX on a DEX firmware, you will semi-brick your console.

REX version of REBUG support both. CEX and DEX.



To switch from DEX to CEX or CEX to DEX. You will need to do the following:

1. Rename DexFlash.bin to DEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN. Rename CexFlash.bin to CEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN.

2. Insert both files in a usb. Insert USB in the right USB PS3 port.

3. Turn on PS3. Open rebug tool box <- this comes with rebug firmware..

4. Go in DEX/CEX tab.

5. Select Rewrite Target ID in Flash. Two warning will prompt. Click yes on both.

6. Select Swap LV2 Kernel.
