So I had to do a system restore which erase everything. When I finally had the system turn on. Everything was gone but I was on the same firmware ( 4.50 ita spoofed to 4.66) that I was on when this first happened. I downgraded to dex 3.55 (don't know if that's where I messed up ) and then was going to upgrade back to everything. Well after I downgraded, it wouldn't let me upgrade to anything. It was greyed out and kept saying corrupted. Finally I got it to upgrade to rebug 4.30. But now every time I try to downgrade or upgrade it's greed out and corrupted. I am stuck and don't know what the hell to do. Will someone please help before I mess it up even further. So I'm stuck on 4.30 rebug with no jailbreak because I'm sure I lost it already. Thank you.

Hardrive is fucked bro

Same happend with me just my PS3 wouldn't turn on at all the green light would stay on and the screen would be black and I would go to the reboot menu and I would click on restore and nothing would happen, I've been told it my Hardrive thats corrupted so I got a new one coming tonight

Connect the hard drive to PC with cable adapter SATA to USB, do a low level format with HDD Low Level Format Tool, then run hdd regenerator, do a prescan, if it finds bad sectors or delays scan and repair, then do again a prescan, see if it repaired, if not means that the bad sectors are at the hardware level and they can't be repaired, buy a new hdd. If you want some advices to buy the hdd ask me

Thanks for everyones input. I just restored my file system through recovery mode. But when I finally got it back up and running everything was erased. It was still on the spoofed 4.66 firmware but I downgraded to (tried a bunch of different but am on this one now) 3.55 downgrade cex rebug. I just came from habib 4.66 but it kept timing out every time I tried to sign into psn. Do I need to enable or disable something to be able to access psn. I'm on 3.55 down grade rebug cex. Right now. Buy when I was on 4.66 habib I tried to sign in and it kept saying timed out.
