I had a 3.55ps3 witch i upgraded to rebug 4.5x (long time ago).
Later this day i though it was time for an upgrade becouse of the spoofs being blocked by Sony.
At the time of upgrading i was on rogero 4.60 with spoof to latest firmware.

Note: my system has ALWAYS been QA flagged (qa flag on).

1. i used 999 downgrader by the rebug dev to go to 3.55.
2. i upgraded to You must login or register to view this content.
3. It failed mid-upgrade with an regular update failure error.
4. Opened safe-mode/recovery-mode
5. Updated from recovery to the same cfw as before (ferrox 4.66).
6. Pressed yes on regular terms of service and other stuff (as all updates ask).
7. Got into 4.66 ps3.

Now i cannot launch any home brew (spoofer, MultiMan, etc)
I got no install .pkg, package files.
No signs of the advanced options that come with QA.

Note: I forgot to un-spoof my system before 999 downgrade. After step 1. i could not launch the spoof so i could not fix it afterwards.

Note: I have a E3-flasher that failed on another ps3 (the system was valid, i did my research)

I would be more than happy to get some answers, i could also take some pictures of info and such if needed.
+ Sadly this is my first post ever on NGU, didnt want to start of with a such a failure,
but yeah... watcha gonna do!

Edit: I had gta5 in the system while doing everything mentioned above.

Never mind.

Okay sad to hear. Maybe my days of fun is over. :p
Back to the worktable to do some flashing i guess.

Now i finally now whats the problem and can solve it from there, you guys saved me a lot of research.

Not 4.66 OFW it's whatever update that game was released on.

Well it has happened to me in the past and it updated to the latest firmware.

All you need to do is downgrade it again. Not that big of a deal. If anything, you can sell it as ofw with the ability to go cfw. someone will pay for it
