How this happened: i was using a gsc menu on bo2 amd my game crashed, so i restarted my ps3 and it asked me to restore the hdd files and it just froze at 35%.
How i tried to fix this issue: i tried to restore the system files from safe mode but it is just stuck saying preparing please wait.

So basically i am wondering if i system restore in safe mode will it go to the newest firware or go back to the firware i was recently on.

No if you restore it will stay on the firmware your on.

So if i do a system restore it will just wipe the hdd, and i will stay on habib cfw?
