i need to install a cheat in my game, the instruction say to use multiman

i have the address for overwrite file to install
i have the cheat , is .bin
i have multiman .pkg

i put the 2 files in usb key but ps3 dont read nothing

i have original ps3 named PS3-810, version 4.70 (edited was 4.66 before)
i have original game on CD

what i have to do for install the cheat?

is the cheat an 'eboot.bin'?

is it jailbroke? if no it won't work.

if yes install multiman first
