If your on OFW already then just update it. There's never any bypasses on OFW for mandatory updates

Does anyone know how to start a game from the HDD using mmCM? When I click on the game it kicks me back to the xmb and nothing.

After you go back to the xmb menu you should select the folder on the top that says playstation 3

mmCm. make sure you have bdmirror and internal (or external) checked. put a random disc in bd.

Super slims CAN NOT be downgraded below 3.77 FW unless you build the mother board yourself straight from scratch and install 3.55 or lower OFW/CFW on it first. Good luck with that :P
