right im trying to spoof to 4.70 but im doing all right and when i get to PSNpatch and spoof the 4.70
it will reboot but once it has rebooted and then i check my ps3 version its says X.XX !!!
and when i turn my ps3 of and back on my fw will go back to 4.66

anyone out there that know how to sort it out please...get back to me asap

The X.XX part means that your firmware isn't supported by that spoof, If your not on Cobra firmware you can't do it like that as far as i know.

Idk how to fix but don't try to sign in when it's x.xx or you will get banned for pirated software. I'm on DEX so I can sign in while spoofed to recent 4.66. Sry I can't help

If you have webman, than thats the reason... You'll have to remove it... check it out.

all shud just update to new 4.70 cfw sign in no problem no bans to all is good
