So i updated it.. And i need help please so when it finished updating it stayed on a black screen and i turned it off and when i turned it back on it still stayed on a black screen!... So does that mean im bricked or is there a way to fix it or something please help me! PLEASE.!!

put your 4.66 cfw on your usb stick
put your ps3 in recovery mode with the beep thingy
[beep thingy is holding down your power button on until it turns off again en then do it again until u here double beep]
then try reinstall ur cfw.

you broke rule #1; never do a system update from PSN.
worst case, you will need to re-jailbrake.

Never update your FW with system updates from Sony because it will probably brick your console or it will make your PS3 Official Firmware instead of Custom Firmware.

Reinstall your CFW via safe mode
