I decided to format the ps3 hard drive on my pc as it was not working properly however when I formatted it and placed back in my PS3 it gives me the Yellow Light Of Death. I turned it on with out the hard drive and had no error but did display a message about a appropriate storage.

What should I do? Buy a new hard drive or fix my other one?
