First you need to see if your PS3 can be downgraded to 3.55 or not.

Download the pup from the thread above and follow the tutorial to install it like an update to see what the lowest firmware you can go to is.

Next you would obviously need to downgrade if you can go to 3.55. You will need a hardware Flasher to do that part.

And then you would have to install a CFW.

But this is only if you are able to downgrade to 3.55. If you can't you will need to purchase a already jailbroken console.
