Post: Reinstall REBUG 4.65.2 REX

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello guys.

Currently, my PS3 is on REBUG 4.65.2 REX.

Reading lots and lots these past few weeks on 4.70 spoofing methods and patches, i decided to go with SEN ENABLER v5.8.0.

All went smooth (except one thing described below), PS3 was spoofed to 4.70 under System Settings and i managed to successfully get online.

While i continued reading on spoofing news and other user stories these couple of days i stumbled upon You must login or register to view this content..

Reading Hijam's procedure steps, i noticed that during the SEN ENABLER spoofing i hadn't set the system mode from Rebug to Normal in the second column of Rebug Toolbox. I suppose i had do this also for the SEN ENABLER spoofer.

I started SEN ENABLER, disabled the SEN access went back to System Settings and PS3 was on 4.65.
Then i run Rebug Toolbox switched between normal and rebug modes a couple of times but System Settings were showing 4.65 in both normal and rebug modes, opposed to 4.66 it supposed to show (in rebug mode).

Then i run again SEN ENABLER, hit the restore default spoof, uninstalled SEN ENABLER, but again the System Settings were showing 4.65 as PS3 firmware (both in normal and rebug modes).

Now, i guess while i was on Rebug mode the first time i installed the SEN ENABLER 4.70 spoofer, it overwrote it and the default rebug's 4.66 spoof got lost.

While now i would like to get Hijam's 4.70 spoofer running, since it was released especially for the REBUG firmware, I thought to fix the previously described problem by reinstalling the REBUG 4.65.2 REX on top of my current semi broken REBUG 4.65.2 REX.

I read in the official REBUG website this

HOW TO Install & Uninstall REBUG

INSTALL:
From XMB install REBUG 4.21.x AND HIGHER over any 3.55 OFW/CFW/MFW or the same or lower firmware version CFW with spkg sig check patched or any firmware version CFW with spkg sig check patched and QA enabled.

UNINSTALL:
From XMB REBUG 4.21.x AND HIGHER can be uninstalled with the same or higher firmware version OFW/CFW/MFW or with REBUG 3.55.x REX EDITION on a QA enabled PS3 or with the ‘999’ DOWNGRADER if QA was NOT enabled.

It's clear enough but i would like to confirm it, avoiding any other implications.
I guess since i already run Rebug's cfw, spkg sig is already check patched. So i don't have to do much here.
I have already QA enabled.
So in order to restore the broken REBUG mode, i just copy the REBUG 4.65.2 in a flash drive and install it on top of my current REBUG 4.65.2 as i did install it the first time (i was on a Rebug 4.46 before), or i have to do something else?

Sorry for the long story.

Thanks in advance.
