I wouldn't get arctic silver 5 i would get Arctic mx-4 since it is better, newer, last longer, and has no cure time but AS 5 is in retail stores so it is easy to get. Also make sure to apply the paste right especially with AS 5 since it is thick.

It should be, my mate who downgrades and sells console's uses Arctic Silver 5, I have bought 2 console's from him, working perfectly, months later. :p
