As i said i am very new to this so i beg. if anyone can take me under their wing long enough to set this up for me and girlfriend i would be eternally great-full.
I don't know what to download or what to do after i download, i'm not bad with computers i just have no knowledge of this sort of thing so if anyone out there can aid my need as i said i would be great-full

so does jailbreaking your ps3 give you cfw?

Ok then so I will make this as easy as possible.

1. You can only mod your game save which means that you can only use it offline and in single player. Even then I am not sure there is a lot of options that can be used with this method.

2. In order for you to mod the game like you see on videos on YouTube and such you will need to either
(A) Buy a CFW PS3
(B) See if you can downgrade your PS3 and have someone do it for you. Obviously they will charge you for it but it is usually between £20 - £40 depending on where you go.
(C) Read up on how to do it your self and take very good care when trying to do it yourself as if you miss a step of rush to far ahead you could perma brick your PS3.

Now I won't go into detail about GTA V or anything like that because unless you have a CFW then it would be irrelevant at this moment in time but should you ever think about getting one I would be glad to help you. I have just helped a friend for the last couple of days set up his CFW and get modding



Yes Jailbreaking is essentially putting a CFW on your PS3.
