I bought the PS3 jailbroken so I am not familiar with how it was spoofed. Can someone please point me in the right direction of the necessary steps I need to take in order to get back online. Also I've seen some people with their PS3's spoofed to 4.70 on youtube. What is the best option to go with at the moment, spoof or updating to 4.70 CFW? Tutorial's or step by step guides will be much appreciated.

4.46 ofw? You mean cfw. Anyway remove spoof installing the same cfw you have now from recovery menu, maybe you have 4.46 rebug Rex, I'm not sure.. Then install a 4.70 (now the best is Habib's cfw but shortly Darknet will release a cobra cfw that is better than the normal so wait). Now, to go online, follow the precautions, use google to search them, annoys me to write. Remember, install the cfws from Recovery Menu, not XMB.

So to back online again , you need first to remove your spoofer and install a new one
but since you don't know any information about your spoofer .. then
the only way to go is to install a new CFW

(( I'd recommend Habib 4.66 v1.01 CEX cobra , as it's compatible with almost everything , specially webMan-MOD ))

The next step is to install a spoofer to spoof your version to 4.70
there are some spoofers over here , but I'd recommend " SENenabler 5.8.0 "

Finally , Install webMAN-MOD , set it up to disable CFW syscalls & delete history at boot
and then you are 90% safe (there's no 100% guarantee as long as you use CFW)

Thanks a lot for all the info. So I don't have to disable anything before updating the cfw? Also, when I update the cfw should I be doing it from the xmb or recovery menu? I'm on cex btw. Is your method better than keeper's post, and at this time is spoof better than updating to 4.70 cfw?
