I would like to know if anyone knows of course , if it is possible to edit the XMB menu items(not the ingame xmb)
like Editing the categories of XMB (Users Settings Photo Music Video Tv/video services Game Network PSN Friends)
I already know that it is possible to rename this categories, but I would like to know if it is possible to Delete one
or delete an item of a category. My point here is that I want to lock my ps3 from anyone that will change the current settings .(No - the idea taking my ps3 controller with me doesnt help lol either taking the power cable)
So is it possible to delete the Settings category from XMB ?
Or items of Category Settings like System Update , system restore
I would like to know if this is possible , by editing any files on ps3, (xml , rco , sprx ) and how to edit , and which one.
I have already tried to edit xml and rco without any good results :/ so maybe I have to edit a .sprx file !?
The best result so far is that I deleted the Category settings from XMB but the clock on the upper right is a white box and the XMB(INGAME) has no icons at all.
Sorry for the long text but I had to make it clear.

i dont really think its a smart idea to delete the standard settings from your ps3 - just dont open anything and you should be good to go
