(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); well i did some backup dumps on my ps3 it was all good.used 4.65 patcher and patched my dump..all is ok!
so renamed the bkpps3.patched.bin to bkpps3.bin and turn all switches on faceplate down then hit reset and then start....it went through all blue leds flashing so i turned off my ps3(unplug from wall) and removed flasher and put the ps3 back together and when i plug in the ps3 the lights dont even show?it doesnt turn on! anyone know why this would happen??it worked 5 mins before and then wont work now?!

can it be a brick?
can it be bad ribbon cable to power/eject buttons?

im stuck guys please help


UPDATE: 3/9/2015 k well done some research and found out that i had a ylod brick.basically its giving the show thats its ylod but isnt.so now im reading that i have to solder a wire to SBE to Tristate(GROUND)?to keep the power on?and then flash the valid backup to the revision etc

UPDATE: 3/10/2015 k so im getting confused with my dump.....i have links below of the dump validating it.4.65 says bad! 4.50 says OK! which one should i use???? should i use the latest one?

so anyways i need to buy a new clip suit for the flasher the one i have doesnt lock on the chip.so gonna get a new one soon.but anyways should i just do the whole process over and make backups and if there good flash/patch the ps3 with a new clip suit?

np, hope you get it figured out. always be very careful when taking the PS3 apart and applying the flasher. can damage many other things really easy. but your booting up so its not irreparable damage
