Im a total noob at this but am catching on as I go, Basically my end goal is to be able to mod on gta online, I have a ps3 that says it has firmware version 4.70. I know I need to jailbreak it before I can do anything but im not sure how. Is there anyone out there that would be willing to help me threw this process via skype or something? A guided how to of sorts? I would be willing to pay. Any and all help is appreciated, thx again .

identifying your console would be the first step, to see if it can run custom firmware, on back and or bottom it will say CECH??????? on the sticker

no but cheapest and fastest, your gonna have to spend $$ if thats what your asking

i have a second ps3 the number is CECH-2001A dunno if that is any different

same both can be done with the e3

Im from canada and it takes a week to get anything here, I dont mind spending the money on the e3 but is there a way to do it even if it is more expensive with stuff I can source locally so I can get the ball rolling today? alternatively my buddy has a cech-G01 console i know is older he would trade me for one of mine.
