First console is a fat which was downgraded and had CFW installed. accidentally updated to CFW 4.70 and went through the jb process again. However, after several attempts of getting the nor clip seated properly i successfully updated the e3 flasher and made a good dump. I was about to then install the bppks file, or whatever that file is and the ps3 turned off by itself. I then turned it back on and the fan ran at a very high speed and cut off again. Did this several times before giving up. I cooked it in the oven to reflow the motherboard which nothing was affected. Ps3 still has same issue.
Never been on long enough to overheat. Is it possible this could happen if nor chip was not seated good enough. Could that make something malfunction or short out?
