if you buy a 4.70 OFW the only way to jailbreak it is by downgrading with an E3 Flasher. But If its a 3.55 You can JB easily.

like this guy said - if its on 4.70 you need a E3 flasher, the best thing you can do is just buy a ps3 which is already on 3.55 Smile

You first have to make sure it's able to be downgraded. Verify your model with this list. If it's on there then you can use the e3 flasher

PS3 FAT MODELS THAT START WITH
CECHH
CECHJ
CECHK
CECHL
CECHM
CECHO
CECHP

SLIM MODELS, ANY SLIM THAT STARTS WITH
CECH-20
CECH-21
Some Cech-25 models also can be done
