Since the tool only works with retail pkgs I thought about different mods we can do on OFW. Looking at how we extract the game files and we have access to them, couldn't we just replace files, for instance an EBOOT.bin. If we used got a pkg game like call of duty, and replaced the eboot file with a modded one, then installed the file onto our ofw PS3, wouldn't it work? We could install a antiban eboot or something, surely? Also, Sony wouldn't detect the files as homebrew, so your PS3 wouldn't be banned, or would it? It would be awesome if someone could help me out with this, because, In my head, it makes perfect sense.

not possible, as modded eboots wont run on any official firmware higher then 3.55

You can use this method for MW2, as you only need to change the patch_mp.ff file for mods. Unfortunately with EBOOT.bin mods it won't work. I've tried on a few different games, but it doesn't work on OFW

that is because we cant sign eboots for ofw. its just patched in cfw not to care.

is there a way of making my OFW run pkg games? i know i can run mw2 through multiman by switching out the eboot however i dont know if i can make it just run the game by itself
