I have to force the restart and it auto starts the update again..
I retried over and over and the same thing happens again... I know the HDD is good.
I originally updated it with a USB so the update did copy over to the system
and then started to install and that's when the power went out.
That's when it all went to shyt...

Any body have a solution?

I would appreciate it very much if someone could help me...

Try get into recovery mode and update using your old firmware maybe that could help Smile

I tried safe mode and recovery and it will not let me go to any of them mode....

Ok turn on your ps3 then connect with tmapi and get into recovery mode from there and then install, I belive you have to have already used tmap/prodg manager to have it working or it wont work!

[ ANSWER ]My husband just showed up and he plugged the ps3 HDD into the laptop and replaced the UPDATE that was trying to install with a different one. I guess dfw firmware is different then cfw like cex/dex. I did not know but I thought he would be mad at me but he wasn't. He just laughed at me and now its working.....[/COLOR]

a noob lol I might not be very good but Vicodin10 (my husband ) builds software I bet you use everyday.. there is
CEX/SEX/DEX And more but there is a DFW firmware that companies or 3rd parties use like ubisoft I'm sure they have it on there consoles.. do you know what that even is.. you I believe is the noobie... Superslim ps3's are trash and very cheap made. would you like to see a real dev ps3's with there software on pc/mac. I can back my trash talking. well if you can back it then I guess its not trash talking then. its the truth... go to bed. I don't want you to get grounded. oh and if I spelled a word wrong, don't correct me cause everybody tries to make words shorter....

Lol I know super slims aren't moddable and the CID's on them never get banned. That's why you should buy it because your not meant to mod. Who installs a DEX firmware on a DFW PS3? That means the PS3 is DEX no such thing as a DFW. Google DFW PS3 there is nothing at all.
