It would not turn off so I unplugged it and plugged it back it. Then it was stuck in a data corrupted loop. So I put it in safe mode and just restored it. After that I was able to get on and I updated the firmware, then after it auto restarted it said the system files were corrupt again and now it's stuck back just going up to about 40% and restarting itself and saying system files are corrupt! What can I do to fix this? Someone please help!

Reinstall from the safe mode?

Try restoring the file system & re-installing the firmware, if no hope, you might possibly have a faulty HDD

Well, it's actually my uncles PS3, so it's at his house, so I'm going to try that probably tomorrow

And if it doesn't work then I'll just take the console ID as a back up haha so it works out for me no matter what
