I just got done converting to Dex and using CFW Setup v4.9.9 r2 to spoof to 4.70 and i haven't went online yet. I used psn patch and ps ninja then got the ban notice. But i accidently updated my ps3 while bo2 disc was still in and was expecting could it been that , that cause the ban?

I've use the new updated PSN Patch 4.70.06 , Ps Ninja v4. I used IDPSet 0.84 to convert to dex , went to update to Rebug 4. something i forgot and thats when bo2 when still in the ps3 then later i took it out and updated to Ps3ita 4.50 then spoof with CFW Setup v4.9.9 r2 then the usually step psn patch , ps ninja then sign in the ban notice show. Which one of these step got me ban so i wont the same mistake again later on

I highly doubt that. As far as I know, that can only lead to brick or soft brick.

Ps3 is still fully functional. No brick or anything. So was the bo2 in ps3 while the update cause the ban? Im just finding the cause only

I have never seen that happen before, so i'm guessing not. If you were modding a game before you updated. That could well be the cause.

Last night i was modding bo2 with white water v5 and i was going pretty crazy online but it shouldn't be a cid ban. I've been ban on bo2 before and its only a suspended ban.

if i change back to cex will that get me online again or just get new cid?
