there is no limit i think, but normally you should get CID banned after a few accounts bans

CID bans and Account bans do not correlate. When you get account banned, it's an account ban. Accounts get banned every day. When you get console banned, ANY account that had logged into or have on there, (I don't remember what the guy I talked to said, yes I trolled him saying I'll just buy a new CID after pretending to cry a bit) will be banned. I got console banned on my first account ban lol, I even used PSNinja and psnpatch and never used any homebrew app when I was online so I am very unlucky.

you dont even need either of those and they seem to be getting people banned

Am pretty sure it's 3 account banns, it happens to me on black ops 2 when it first came out.

It dont matter being online with modified software (in our case the CFW) is worthy of a console ban so really it dont matter how many times your profiles get banned, it could be your first time online and you can get console banned
