Wire the fan directly to one of your USB ports. Take an old USB wire cut it then cut the wire from fan to motherboard. Hook USB wire to fan wire (not sure of wire colors) then run the wire out the back of the PS3 . Put the PS3 back together the plug the USB wire into one of the ports there is a tut on youtube with wire diagram and colors
