Would it be wise to use the CID from the working online Jailbroken unit for my banned unit? I want to be able to go online with both at the same time and of course use psninja and psn patch to be stealth. I see alot of sites offering CIDs but they get banned is that because multiple consoles are using them?

There's a tool pack you can download, it's AldosTools I believe. And it has a console ID grabber in it, you just drag the BIOS file from the PS3 onto the program and it'll tell you your PSID and IDPS (Console ID)
